However, if you plan to stick the screen directly onto the wall, you'll need to consider the width of the adhesive strap, which is approximately 1 inch. Choose a film size that is slightly larger than your measured dimensions to ensure a secure and efficient fit.

For example, if you require a film size of 34 inches in width and 40 inches in height, you can opt for a kit that offers a 46 x 63 inch film. Similarly, for a window measuring 50 inches in width and 60 inches in height, a 63 x 63 inch film would be suitable. And for a larger window of 70 inches in width and 75 inches in height, a 74 x 79 inch film size would be the recommended choice.

The film thickness is approximately 180 μm (0.18 mm or 7 mil), providing sufficient strength to withstand strong winds.

The installation process is straightforward, as the kits utilize the adhesive loop straps, eliminating the need for any drilling tools. Simply peel off the straps to open the windows for ventilation whenever desired.

The Mellroom insulation kits are suitable for most types of windows, but they are not recommended for windows that require frequent ventilation. If you plan to use the kits in outdoor settings or on windows without glass, you'll need to secure the film by nailing it around the frame.

For larger windows, you can combine two pieces of the clear film using the adhesive straps to create a custom-fit solution. When measuring the window size, be sure to include the frame dimensions, and then choose a film size that is slightly larger than your measurements.
